Thursday September 5, 2019, 9 am to 12 pm
This beginner’s spinning adventure starts with a drop (suspended) spindle. Using processed wool fibre, you will make a single thread and then turn that thread into a 2-ply yarn. Along the way, you’ll discover different types of spindles and fibres, and learn how they all work together. Finally, you will take your freshly spun yarn off the spindle, finish it and then store it until you are ready to use it.
No previous experience is required.
