Friday September 6, 2019, 9 – 12
Using a limited number of stitch types and variations, learn to create dynamic hand-stitched thread art on photos and papers. Visual selections, colour choices, line weight, backgrounds, and other elements will be covered. Complete two different 4×6 artworks in class and create a third of your own design using a reference photo (bring some of your own or use one of the instructor’s). Lots of samples will be presented to inspire your creativity. Artworks are suitable for framing, mounting, greeting cards, book covers, and more.
