An Introduction to Bead Embroidery

Workshop description:
Embroidery techniques have been used to apply beads to cloth since people started making holes in things. This workshop with William Hodge and Robert Wylie will give you insights into working with beads to create magnificent beaded objects. Materials, equipment and techniques will be shown and participants will have an opportunity to try some.

Description of what supplies include: Supplies include a selection of beads , specialty threads, a package of needles, patterned fabric, printed notes.

Description of what clients bring: Small sharp scissors, some of their own beads if desired and/ or a piece of material that has meaning if desired. If client owns an Embroidery hoop it may be brought although not strictly necessary.
